Summer English Work
Week #1
During this week I saw a bunch of movies and almost all of them I have already seen before and I saw them again in the TV but their is one movie that I was very interested on seeing and that movie is "I love you beth cooper". So I went to Scape Video, where I rent movies and rent it. The movie was about a boy that was graduating from high school and he loved this gril, Beth from the 9th grade but he never had the courage to even talk to her. He was one of the best students of his class so he was chosen to make a speech and in his speech he said in front of everyone that he loved Beth Cooper. After that he had the courage to talk to her and invites her and her friends to his house. A lot of things happen but he had a great night because he spend it until the morning of the next day with the girl he has loved his entire teenager life. At the end she also falls in love with him and that is what the movie was about. I liked it very much and it really teached me a valuable lesson, that falling in love is not because of our apperience but also of how we are in our inside.
Week #2
This second week of my summer I did the same things i did on the first one. There were nights in wich their was nothing to do so my mother just had the idea to rent a movie. My mother always likes renting movies and watching them together as a family but this day my father was not in town and my sister went out with her boyfriend so my mother and I went to see wich movies we could rent and she saw one that she thought I would like a lot and was a movie that she also wanted to see. That movie is "Edge of darkness" with Mel Gibson. It was a movie of suspense and action and I really enjoy watching it. The movie was about this man that her daughter was killed but it was not a normal death like someone trying to steal her cel or trying to rape her but she just was shot and in front of his eyes! So the entire movie was about this man trying to investigate the purpose of his daughter´s death. He finally has all the information he could get and and he did everything he could to make justice. He did justice but he also was killed at the end, It was a very interesting movie, I liked it a lot.
Week #3
This week I did not do anything that had to do with english and I spend the mayority of my time watching TV and I could talk about any of the movies I have seen but I have talked to much already about the movies I have seen so I am going to talk about my two favorite TV shows; these are "two and a half men" and "friends". Every day after I wake up and have breakfast the thing I do after that is go and watch this shows. I see these shows in warner channel. Two and a half men is at 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. They give two episodes of 30 minutes and they do the same with Friends until 1 p.m. Is two fun our of the best shows ever made.
Week #4
This week was the week in which my trip with my family to europe began. I went to this trip with my granmother, mother, sister and cousins. We left tuseday,the beginning of the week and we first went to london. In London as every person in this world knows, they speak english the same way as we do, the difference on their english is their accent, it makes it sound a little bit more extravagant and I really like their accent but the problem is that english people talk fast and with their accent it is difficult to understand but that was for me a good thing because I tried and tried the hardest I could to understand every time I talked to some one and I know that even though at that moment was a problem that was helpful for me and my way of speaking english.
Week #5
At the beginning of this week, we had already arrived to turkey. In turkey when we went to some place to eat or to the flee market or eny where else, to communicate with the people their we mostly needed to talk english because we abiously do not know their language. Sometimes we talked spanish because some of the people thir talked spanish not english and vice versa; it was mostly english and it was mostly at the flee market becuase in some restaurants we went or in the metro when whe tried to talk to someone they did not know how to speak english nor spanish so we needed to do it with signs.
In the middle days of the week we were already in the cruise by the greek islands. It was a great experience and in the cruise we also talked with everybody in english with the exception of the people that were in our tour because that tour is latin. When our time at the cruise finished, by the end of this week we went to athens and in athens as in turkey and as in the cruise and everywhere else, we talked english to anyone with who´m we needed to communicate.
Week #6
By the time this week started we were still in athens but at the middle of it we went just bake home to miami were another part of my family was there. My cousins´s mothers and brothers were their waiting for all of us. In miami their isn´t to many things to do, we just went to malls and stores every day and we stayed their like the entire day because their in miami, women were the ones who ruled because my aunt was with her car and their was no adult man, it was just me and my cousins. The picture here was shopping at off sacks. I was helping my cousin look for a suit.
Week # 7
This week was when I returned from my trip and their wasn´t to much things to do. It was a boring afternoon and my mother went to watch sex and the city 3 with my sister and I was alone but my aunt and cousins invite me to go and watch toy story 3 with them. We went to metromall. I first thought it was a movie just for little kids because i went with all my little cousins even thought my other to cousins around my age went to, but I liked it very much.
Week #8
This week I also went to the movies and this time I went to see Shrek the Final Chapter on 3D. It was like 11 a.m. and I was sleeping but my aunt and cousins call me again and told me to go with them to see the movie and even though they waked me up my other cousins had already told me that the movie was fun so I went to see it. It was a really a good movie and very sentimental, I liked it a lot and the best part was that it was in 3D.
